“We were in Greece, we danced, I was gay, we were happy.”

- mom: are you dating that boy you hugged him
- mom: are dating that boy you were talking to him
- mom: are you dating that boy he looked at you
- mom: are you dating that boy he was breathing your air
I had full intentions of going out and being productive today.
But the grey, cold, and rainy weather seduced me to stay in and read and watch Star Trek.
“I Will Follow You Into The Dark; there’s references to going to Catholic school in the song, and I was brought up Catholic and I think for me I’ve been kind of finding it harder to kind of accept so many of the things that I was brought up being told I have to accept. One day I just had this idea, I think it was such a beautiful sentiment to have this idea of like, you know, nobody knows what happens to us after we die. I mean, the pope knows about as much about what happens to us after we die as I do, or you, or anybody else in this room. So I had this idea of, I thought it would be really nice to have this sentiment about following somebody else into the dark. I mean we are all gonna die someday and we don’t know what it is. The fact that we don’t know what that is, to me, that registers as a dark. You know, I’m following you into the dark, I don’t know what’s there, I don’t know what we’re walking into. And that kind of triggered a series of images in my head about being in an unlit room just stumbling around trying to find out where you are. And I will follow you into this dark place but we’ll be together, you won’t be alone there.”

I don’t want to go to seminar tomorrow. Spending five-plus more hours in the darkroom this week is not on my list of things I want to do.
Laying in bed, eating soup, and watching Gilmore Girls sounds much better.
