This scene, though. This whole motherfucking scene.
On the one hand you’ve got McGonagall being a total badass standing up for Harry and protecting him and any chance of defeating Voldemort for good and just being a standup witch and that’s just fucking gorgeous.
And then on the other hand you have Snape / Alan Rickman’s superb acting. You can see it on his face that he doesn’t want to fight McGonagall and he doesn’t want to do this anymore but he has to because Dumbledore told him to so Harry could do what he had to and win the war.
I can’t. I just can’t.
I’ve written down all my first-hand opinions/feelings about Deathly Hallows. There is a lot of writing behind this read more, but I just had to get it out. When I see this movie for the second time, I’ll probably have more to say, but for now this is what I think (:
